Niche; the market for a cause.

As some of you may already know, Launceston is home of Niche- all wrapped up. The Niche market is held 3 times a year, showcasing the most innovative of Tasmanian craft designers. 20% of all profits made are donated to St Giles which goes to providing immeasurable support and funds for Tasmanians with disabilities and their families. Last year, $18, 500 was raised for St Giles over 3 inspiring markets.

A Tasmanian designer who is a regular on the Niche Market scene is Sophie of That Vintage (You should most definitely already know of her as I talk about her too often; call it the 'best friend syndrome'). That Vintage is gracing Niche with it's beautiful presence yet again this year and I am very happy to be helping out on the stall. I am oh-so-very excited!

A buzzing atmosphere, an abundance of talent and a passion for creating and fundraising...such a pleasure to be apart of!

Also, This year I am very excited to be bringing you some exclusive guest posts from amazing business-running mama's with stalls at Niche! They will be talking about the challenges and benefits of being mama's with creative careers and giving insight into how family and work life balances for them, definitely posts to watch out for!

Looking forward to sharing the event with you via tweets and instagrams! If you are local to Launceston, please come along and support designers and an important cause. Hope to see you there!
Plenty of love...
